Optical Comarators

At A.A. Jansson, we've been selling optical comparators for over 5 decades. These precision measuring systems, sometimes referred to as shadow graphs, are an excellent solution for viewing, measuring, and inspecting manufactured parts. Our comparators make tasks like dimensional measurements and tolerance qualification easier, faster, and more accurate.

We sell both new and refurbished systems and employ a team of service technicians that can add computer based measuring systems such as readouts, axis drive systems, and advanced power and lighting. Readouts and software are provided by MEtlogix, and Heidenhain. Upgrading a proven system is not only economical it allows older comparators to compete if not surpass the current state-of-the-art technology, and do it at a fraction of the cost of new equipment. We are able to install what we sell, and can even train customer staff in the use of their new comparator system.
