Machine Tool Calibration

Machine Tools naturally have a heavy duty cycle, causing wear on components and the structural supports. The results are a gradual degrading of repeatability, and accuracy causing the parts produced to edge toward the tolerance limits. It is important to evaluate the performance of the machines before work-pieces exceed tolerance. Periodically evaluating the state of your machine level, backlash, and repeatability will assure continued peak performance and the machines' capabilities of producing parts that meet rigid specified tolerances.

How We Help You

A.A. Jansson will restore your machines' capabilities with minimal cost and production downtime. Before beginning, we will ask you what issues you have observed and apply our expertise to determine what corrections and evaluations are appropriate. This could be a simple level of a single axis, a linear compensation at cutter position, or changing a parameter in the control. We can also perform full leveling, lead-screw pitch compensation and cross compensation when required. We will then provide you with a comprehensive report of the machines as found and as left condition.
